Procedure for Applying for Scholarships

Submit the following to the J. Herbert Williams Foundation

1.  Letter of application including the following:

       (a)  Pertinent personal information. (Prepare a biographical sketch,
              discussing your interests, hobbies, ambitions, vocational
              plans, awards and honors received, etc.)

       (b)  Record of active participation in co-curricular activities.

2.  Three letters of recommendation (school personnel are not to be
      asked).

3. Three recommendations from major subject teachers (Form 3). Do not
     ask members of the Scholarship Committee to fill in the
     questionnaires.)

4.  Complete high school transcript.

General Information for Applicants

1. An interview with the candidate may be necessary.

2. Completed applications must be received by the Foundation on or
     before June 15th. Incomplete applications will NOT be considered.
